Since the previous release the following changes have been implemented.

Approved Applications to Access Tokens#

We've rebranded approved applications as Access Tokens to better reflect their role and importance in securing and managing access. Users can now generate and manage access tokens directly within their account settings, providing a more intuitive and way to grant access to third party applications with granular control over permissions.

Access Tokens at user/group/repository level#

Access tokens can now be generated not only at the user level but also at the group/repository level. This feature provides great flexibility and greater control over access management and reduces the dependency on individual user. Users can generate tokens with only the necessary permissions for a particular repository or group, reducing the risk associated with overly broad access.
