Laces Data Platform v12.5#

Release date: August 7, 2024

Since the previous release the following changes have been implemented.

Expiration dates for Access tokens#

We're enhancing access token security by introducing expiry dates, addressing customer requests for improved management. This feature allows for better control over how long someone has access, adding an extra layer of security and convenience for managing permissions within the Laces data platform. This change does not affect existing access tokens or their configuration. It is also possible to assign an expiry date to an existing access token. For details on using this feature, please refer to the LDP documentation.

In-App service desk support#

The Laces service desk is now available to all users within the Laces Apps. This update allows seamless access to support directly from within the application, enhancing client support and maintaining the current workflow. Enjoy easier and faster support when using Laces. Additionally, users can access a knowledge base for common questions or create a ticket if the information is unavailable.

In-app service desk can be accessed via the widget located in the bottom right corner of the homepage. When you search for your question, you will be directed to the knowledge base or prompted to create a service desk ticket.

SPARQL queries from graphDB is allowed#

We are pleased to announce that we have lifted the content type restrictions on queries within GraphDB. Previously, these limitations restricted certain types of content from being queried. With this update, users can now query all content types, significantly enhancing data access and analysis. Enjoy improved functionality and greater flexibility in your data queries.
